BEWARE. I beg all parents to think twice before sending your child to this school. They misrepresented the culture and typical kids there. This is not a personal growth school for those on their way. The population was in much more trouble than the school head, leadership team, teachers, counselors, and therapists, could handle. That puts your child at more risk for emotional turmoil and physical harm than it does help them. They were nonresponsive to my phone calls, my son’s cries for help, and to formal advocacy. And they did nothing during his time there or after I rescued him from this place to make amends or acknowledge the physical violence, lies, property destruction, degradation, pain and suffering they allowed and caused.

Be sure to ask hard questions about this school. It is extremely expensive and offers a Tall Ships trip annually. There was no such trip offered last year. The staff and faculty turnover was frequent, and there are no horses in the "horse barn". Students are trapped on campus most weekends, because there was no bus or staff to take more than a very few students off campus. The therapist was part time at the time and I could say a lot more.
